I know people always say “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” but I just can’t help it. I’m a millenial, I love good aesthetics! A few of my favorites are on this list, but it’s mostly just gorgeous covers! In An Absent Dream (Wayward Children Series) by Seanan Maguire
I love this cover because it seems somewhat realistic but also has that element of fantasy. It captures the tone of the book perfectly and since it’s my favorite book in the series I’m happy it was such a gorgeous cover.
Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I prefer the British cover to the American cover because it feels like the colors and the font fit the book a little better. It’s that L.A. sunset with the 70s rock and roll scene that fits the aesthetic of the book so beautifully.
Starsight by Brandon Sanderson
The artwork on the cover of this book was designed by Charlie Bowater who has become well known throughout the book world for her eerie and fantastical art feature many of our favorite book scenes by authors such as Sarah J. Maas, Holly Black, and Leigh Bardugo.
A Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
The artwork for this cover was also done by Charlie Bowater. I can’t wait for more books to be written and released by this author because so far all of her cover designs have been beautiful.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
I’m so excited about this book because I know this book will be gorgeous!!!! The last three have been absolutely breathtaking so I have no doubts this one will be as well. I’m a little scared of how heavy it will be this is when the books started to get big.
